Just want to let all my friends know that we just purchased two heat surge fireplaces from the Amish Carpentry Shop in Canton, Ohio. I'm sure some of you have seen their infomercials and wondered if they truly performed like they say. THEY DO!
I am here to tell you that we purchased ours on the 24th of January and received both to them on the 27th. If this isn't service, then I don't know what is! They come complete. NO assembling! Just take them out of the box and plug them in. We got a super deal, in that, we ordered ours with the mantle and got the heating unit for free. That was a $300 saving on both units.
The instructions say to turn your thermostat down and set the heat surge fireplace temperature on high. There is a low and high mode button for the fan unit and even a flame dimmer button. This looks so real and the heat from this unit is warm and toasty. Once you get the room temperature where you want it, then you back off the temperature control until you hear a click. When this occurs, the internal thermostat is set and you don't have to worry about a thing.
Since we plugged our units in, our house unit has not come on once. We have been paying close to $300 a month just for propane. This will eliminate that expense. You are probably asking yourself, what about the additional electricity usage. This is an even greater advantage of using this product. It cost about nine cents an hour to use. Have you ever heard such a thing? This is almost too good to be true!
I failed to mention that each unit came with a remote control too. We can set in our favorite chair, love seat or couch and adjust the temperature with the click of a button. Too easy, huh? One other thing, it's on rollers so you can maneuver to any room in the house with the utmost of ease.
There are many other features I could brag on, but I think you get the point and realize how happy we are we the units we purchased. We recommend them to anyone and everyone that is struggling with high heat costs.
