Procrastination - A Virtue or Hindrance!

Procrastination has never been viewed as a virtue, but has most certainly be classified as a hindrance to one's future success. How many times in your life have you procrastinated and lost out on something that could have changed your life forever? Probably too many times to remember!

Well, you are not by yourself. Procrastination used to be my middle name but I have put that all behind me now. I have learned to do my due diligence when it comes to making decision and I have discovered that there is no longer any room for procrastination in my life. This is a heavy load that has been taken off my back. I cannot take all the credit. I have had many role models that I have followed to get to this point. Role models or mentors are a must if you plan on succeeding at anything you desire to accomplish which will be life changing.

Procrastination did save me on occasion from making a mistake, but not enough times to call it a help meet. I know of too many folks that are procrastinators today and their lives are miserable. They cannot take a stand on anything and it drives them nuts. For most this attitude is overwhelming and they end up being a turncoat on themselves.

What if someone showed you a program that would make you a success and could resolve all your financial concerns? Would you at least lend them an ear to hear what they proposed or would you once again turn a deaf ear and miss another opportunity of a lifetime? One thing for sure, I cannot make you do something against your will and just because something sounds too good to be true, doesn't make it wrong. Get over that saying and start living!

Are you content on being a failure or are you willing to take a chance that could take you from rags to riches in a very short time span? If you are willing to take that chance and stop procrastinating, then I will be able to help you. What I have to offer is what everyone is already doing so this takes the guess work out of the equation. If you know two people who would like to get out of the procrastination rut, then you could become a help meet to them. From that point on, it becomes the best roller coaster ride you've ever taken.

It's time for you to leap out of your comfort zone and say "NO" to Mr. Procrastinator and join the ranks of a success team. Are you ready for that challenge today? Let's go....

Here's to being positive!
Eddie

  1. Procrastination is a tough habit to break, and good for you that you've done it. People don't realize how much harder they make things for themselves by putting things off, then they have too little time to get things done and get stressed.

    Nice post.

Being stressed is one thing I do not need in my life and I can see how procrastinating could cause it very easily. I pray you have this under control too!

  5. I'm with you big time my friend. I make reasonable goals, and I do prioritize and I don't beat myself up if something doesn't get down as quickly as I want. Life doesn't have to be as complicated as many people make it.

People over book themselves, then add multiple pets, move into big houses farther away from work and wonder why they get stressed trying to get to and from.

If you don't over book, and separate the musts, and the important things from the extra it's easier.

I agree that life is made too complicated by too many folks. All this does is give one ulcers and stress. Who likes either of those. I know we don't! Thanks again for your support my friend in visiting my blog on a regular basis.

  7. Procrastination is definitely a hindrance to one's success. I wish I can tell you that I've totally managed to break this habit but I would like to believe that I'm making some progress in trying to have this under control. Maybe I should now start looking for role models just like what you did.

Thank you for this very nice post!

Yes it is a hindrance and the sooner you get rid of it the better. It takes work but the positive results are well worth the effort. If you will continue to proceed in a forward motion, you too will find that this will soon be another area of you life that will be conquer. A good role model does help. Thanks!
