I wanted to write this post to let all of you know how much I love doing what I do. How many times in the past I accepted positions because I needed employment. I didn't want to do the jobs, but I needed the money. Does this sound like a situation you've dealt with in the past or maybe you are stuck with right now? If so, it doesn't have to be that way!
I have chosen to brake away from the mundane and boring jobs to one that is exciting and excites others. It is so good to be able to share an opportunity with folks and them actually thank you for sharing it with them. Are you having this same experience with the job you are promoting or are the folks running away from you because they know you are going to try to sell them something?
I have discovered that giving things away is the way to go and when I see these people again, I don't have to worry about them running from me because I have done them a favor and made a friend.
I talk to people everywhere I go and hand them a card that can begin them on a journey that will enable them to own their own lives one day. Will they get rich over night with my opportunity? Absolutely NOT! Will they obtain a lifetime residual income if they work the program and put forth some effort? Most definitely! Is this opportunity for everybody? No, but it will attract those that are not dead beats because they will see the long term blessing received for a job well done.
If it is training you are looking for, this opportunity gives you so much training that it will make your head spin. Not only that, you will be tested on what you have learned and if you do not make 100 you will not be able to proceed to the next level. Don't let this scare you. This is your business we're talking about and we want you to know it well enough so you can have others duplicating it.
Do you want to love what you are doing like I do? You can if you will look over this web site and discover for yourself an opportunity of a lifetime. No hype and no deceit. What you see is what you will get. Fair enough? I think so!

Right you are Eddie, many people hate what they do; and sadly because they hate might not be doing it particularly well. Then there's constant mumbling people do at work who aren't happy which brings others down. Sometimes in life one does need to do something in order to get to an end result...like working towards something. But, I feel for people who continue doing something they dislike hoping it will change. It won't, bottom line is the person is the one who needs to make the change...either in their position or they way they think about their current one.
ReplyDeleteDoing a little blog visiting this am, before I get these tired muscles loosened up enough to go out and do more mulching.

Even the suitcase needs to get things done at home, sometimes. lol
You are right, Eddie. I've changed my approach to agiving things away at craft shows. It's amazing the reactions of people. Some are startled, surprised, a few have said no to a FREE gift-a card!, but in the long run I've seen many more smiles and people warm up to you better, even if they don't buy right away. I'm hoping that they will come back later.

ReplyDeleteNever thought about someone hating their job because they weren't doing it well. It is our choice and we can make whatever we want to out of our current position. Hope you got that mulching done. Don't strain yourself!

ReplyDeleteThank you for leaving this wonderful comment. It never hurt any of us to give something away. Matter of fact, it feels good to be able to give things away. People will remember your generosity and will return.

Hello there,
ReplyDeleteI'm fortunate enough to love the things that I'm doing. I love my profession which is teaching as much as I love blogging as a great hobby. Loving our job really means a lot. It is the same as finding real happiness within you.
This article would let others realize and introspect how they care for their jobs.
Thank you for sharing and have a nice day!

ReplyDeleteYou are blessed and very fortunate to have chosen a career that you truly enjoy. Many wish they were in your shoes. We can choose to make career changes but most are scared to do so for fear of failure. Thanks for the wonderful comment.

I hope that I find a job that I truly love. I do have a job, but since I'm attending school I haven't had a chance to go in and experience it (I only work during the breaks). But so far so good.

ReplyDeleteI don't know how old your are or if you are wanting to work for someone else the rest of your life, but what if you could put forth some earnest effort for 5 or 6 years and then retire with a good residual income. It is possible in network marketing. Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment!

Popping back in to say TGIF...and I did get that whole huge mound of mulch done. Did you pop over and see the picture on my other blog, Sandy's Space.
ReplyDeleteWanted also to remind you about your award.

Recently Peter Bregman, an entrepreneur, wrote a commentary for CNN.com advising people to embrace the recession as a chance to to be reconfigure their careers to be in line with their passions.
ReplyDeleteWhat's interesting was the comments it received. It was like people were responding to two completely different articles. One group thanked him for his inspiring words. The other group were downright hostile.
For example:
"Someone throw this guy off of the roof of Harvard Business School. People are starving to death looking for work and they're supposed to find their inner child?"
"This is (nearly) the stupidest article I have ever read on a news website. CNN is supposedly a news network, not kumbayah, feel good, ideological BS. Work isn't necessarily fun, which is why it is called work."
I feel sad for these people. But it's a good thing these negative people are not reading our blogs. I don't want them infecting us with their energy.

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting again! I pray you had a great weekend after getting all that mulch done. I have not been able to do get to your other site yet or accept the award. I will explain later in an email.

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and I hope you will visit often. I agree with you about those folks not visiting our blogs. I don't mind constructive criticism but blatant negativity is a no no in my book and I want nothing to do with it. Thanks for your comments and I will return the same courtesy.

I love my job but I still want to be the boss of my own company. :))
